Jamieson scores four tries as Plymstock Albion Oaks progress through to Lockie Cup semis

COREY JAMIESON scored four tries as Plymstock Albion Oaks booked their place in the Lockie Cup semi-finals with a 69-0 win over the Peninsula Medical School at Horsham Fields on Wednesday night.

Playing under their floodlights that they had installed last summer, Oaks ran in 11 tries in total to become the first team into the last four of the Plymouth Combination competition.

They will now face the either Cornwall/Devon League rivals Saltash or Devon Two promotion hopefuls OPMs for a place in the final.

It took Oaks just five minutes to open the scoring on a freezing cold night when Andy Porter made a great 35-metre run.

Tries came regularly after that, despite the Medics spirited attempts.  Jamieson was a particular thorn in the Medics side.

As well as his four and Porter’s opener, Jack Green, Callum Cload, Tom Richards, Matt Neyle-Opie and Nathan Akers, with the last play of the game, also scored. Neyle-Opie kicked seven conversions.
